An Apostolic Association of Churches & Ministries

Who We Are

The Acts of Faith Ministerial Association (AFMA) is not a denomination. We are an apostolic association of churches and ministries united with a common goal — to advance the Kingdom of God on earth.

AFMA exists for those who desire to participate in a committed covenant relationship. We are a family of pastors, prophets, evangelists, teachers, apostles, and ministry leaders who have chosen unity over isolation, accountability over independence, and collective purpose over personal ambition.

AFMA is incorporated within The Acts of Faith Ministries International (AFMI) and is a registered charity (Registration No. 1169902).

Under Apostolic Covering

Apostolic Leadership

Bishop Abel Kungu Snr.

President & Apostolic Leader

Bishop Abel Kungu Snr. is an internationally recognized Apostolic and Prophetic leader, revivalist, and conference speaker, whose ministry is marked by deep revelation of the Word, the demonstration of the Holy Spirit, and the manifestation of signs, wonders, and transformation.

He received his apostolic call over 23 years ago during a life-defining encounter with God in a time of illness, when the Lord spoke to him audibly. Since that moment, his ministry has been divinely authenticated through powerful demonstrations of God’s presence and power.

Bishop Abel is known for his passion for God, his compassion for people, and his unwavering faith. He serves as a church planter, teacher, mentor, coach, business adviser, and marriage counsellor—truly a pastor to pastors and a spiritual father to many across the Body of Christ.

He carries a strong apostolic mandate to awaken the Church to prayer, revival, apostolic order, and the manifestation of the sons of God.

Our Vision

To build an international network of ministers, churches, missionaries, and para-church organisations to advance God’s ultimate purpose of dominion on earth.

Our Mission

We believe we are called as an apostolic benchmark to the body of Christ to train, equip, empower, and impart the apostolic and prophetic anointing and spiritual gifts to help fulfil the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Four Pillars

Commissioning

We ordain, license, and send ministers into the harvest field, equipping them with apostolic authority and spiritual gifts to fulfil their God-given calling.

Covering

Every minister and ministry under AFMA receives apostolic covering and spiritual oversight — a place of safety, guidance, and prayerful support.

Relationship

We are built on genuine fellowship. AFMA fosters intentional relationships between ministers, churches, and ministries across nations.

Accountability

We walk in integrity and mutual accountability. Every member commits to upholding ecclesiastical protocol, sound doctrine, and the ethical standards of the Gospel.

Our Mandate

As members of AFMA, we covenant to:

1. Uphold Sound Doctrine
“Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.” — 2 Timothy 1:13

2. Walk in Spiritual Accountability
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

3. Serve in Apostolic Unity
“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” — John 17:21

4. Equip and Empower Leaders
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.” — Ephesians 4:11–12

5. Advance the Kingdom of God
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10
