Welcome to AFMA
The Acts of Faith Ministerial Association is not a denomination — it is a covenant community. We are an apostolic association of churches and ministries united with a common goal: to advance the Kingdom of God on earth. AFMA exists for those who desire to participate in a committed covenant relationship, walking together in sound doctrine, spiritual accountability, and Spirit-led ministry.
Led by President Bishop Abel Kungu Snr., AFMA functions as a family — a network of pastors, prophets, evangelists, teachers, apostles, and ministry leaders who have chosen unity over isolation, accountability over independence, and collective purpose over personal ambition.
Our Vision
To build an international network of ministers, churches, missionaries, and para-church organisations to advance God's ultimate purpose of dominion on earth.
Our Mission
We believe we are called as an apostolic benchmark to the body of Christ to train, equip, empower, and impart the apostolic and prophetic anointing and spiritual gifts to help fulfil the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
AFMA is grounded in the historic Nicene Creed, affirming belief in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and one holy, universal, and apostolic Church.
Our Four Pillars
Commissioning
We ordain, license, and send ministers into the harvest field, equipping them with apostolic authority and spiritual gifts to fulfil their God-given calling.
Covering
Every minister and ministry under AFMA receives apostolic covering and spiritual oversight — a place of safety, guidance, and prayerful support.
Relationship
We are built on genuine fellowship. AFMA fosters intentional relationships between ministers, churches, and ministries across nations, creating a family that walks together.
Accountability
We walk in integrity and mutual accountability. Every member commits to upholding ecclesiastical protocol, sound doctrine, and the ethical standards of the Gospel.

Under Apostolic Covering

Apostolic Leadership
Bishop Abel Kungu Snr.
President & Apostolic Leader
Bishop Abel Kungu Snr. is an internationally recognized Apostolic and Prophetic leader, revivalist, and conference speaker, whose ministry is marked by deep revelation of the Word, the demonstration of the Holy Spirit, and the manifestation of signs, wonders, and transformation.
He received his apostolic call over 23 years ago during a life-defining encounter with God in a time of illness, when the Lord spoke to him audibly. Since that moment, his ministry has been divinely authenticated through powerful demonstrations of God’s presence and power.
Bishop Abel is known for his passion for God, his compassion for people, and his unwavering faith. He serves as a church planter, teacher, mentor, coach, business adviser, and marriage counsellor—truly a pastor to pastors and a spiritual father to many across the Body of Christ.
He carries a strong apostolic mandate to awaken the Church to prayer, revival, apostolic order, and the manifestation of the sons of God.
